Duplo USA Corporation, Santa Ana, Calif., has extended its single clamp fully automatic DPB-500 perfect binder range by adding a PUR version, ideal for short to medium run perfect bound books printed digitally or on coated stocks.
The closed tank system offers cost and productivity benefits since draining after each session is not required. Just like the standard-adhesive DPB-500 perfect binder, the PUR version runs at speeds of up to 525 cycles an hour and is capable of binding a wide range of materials with a maximum booklet size of l4.l7"xl2.60" and minimum size of 4.72"x4.72".
One of the machine's key attributes is its easy-to-use integrated touchscreen controls, which facilitate a 35-second set-up between programs.
